The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Industry 4.0, is enabling more sophisticated capabilities through network-connected products and systems. As a result, industrial control systems are becoming more connectable. To assist manufacturers who develop these products and purchasers who acquire these products; UL has developed UL 2900-2-2 Standard, within the UL Cybersecurity Assurance Program (UL CAP). Using the new UL 2900-2-2 Standard, offers testable cybersecurity criteria to assess software vulnerabilities and weaknesses, minimize exploitation, address known malware, review security controls and increase security awareness.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 10 am, CST, Jared Vogel will present a free live webinar that will provide an overview on the following areas:

  • Review past and current cybersecurity risks for industrial control systems
  • Identify fundamentals of evaluating industrial control systems with security in mind
  • How to develop a robust methodology for identifying risks in a manufacturers’ software supply chain
  • Understand options available for cybersecurity testing and/or certification
