On August 24, 2017, UL presented BASF’s Catalyst facility in Huntsville, Alabama with a Virtually Zero Waste to Landfill validation. During the event, BASF celebrated a facility expansion and the production of the 400 millionth catalyst.

BASF promoted their validation during their ceremony, included it in their event press release and are showcasing the UL mark at their Innovation center.

BASF expressed excitement about their achievement as it fits very well with their catalyst division, which produces products that reduce emissions from vehicles.
