The benefits of working with UL
UL helps empower business improvement with workplace health and safety solutions aimed at eLearning, safety management, employee health management and efficient clinic operations.
Our management, analytical, learning and reporting tools—backed by over a century of technical experience in safety science—provide the increased visibility needed to help manage risk, drive positive change and demonstrate a company’s health and safety compliance efforts.
UL’s eLearning solution provides over 700 online lessons, available in multiple languages to support native language training for all employees. Developed by subject matter experts and designed by instructional designers, UL offers off-the-shelf lessons, custom content, support for instructor-led training, translations and regular updates to meet all your learning needs.
PureSafety®, UL’s safety management system, centralizes training, compliance, incident management, workplace observations and compliance data. PureSafety covers all reporting needs for safety management, from early detection and incident prevention to documenting corrective actions, injuries and workers’ compensation cases, and return to work. User-friendly features include extensive automation capabilities, simplified data entry and management, and easy-to-use injury and case logs to track lost and restricted workdays. This advanced system is accessible via mobile devices, includes access to over 700 educational courses, and can auto-populate in-the-moment news flashes or create customized training sessions to address company-specific issues.
UL’s Occupational Health Manager® (OHM) is a software solution that helps occupational health clinics effectively manage cases and protect workers’ well-being. The solution includes medical surveillance automation, health and wellness promotion, and the ability to track employee compliance with required screenings and tests. OHM’s compliance reporting tools help determine whether an incident is OSHA recordable. In addition, with OHM, clinics can maintain electronic logs and print required documents, including OSHA 300, 300A and 301 reports.
UL’s SYSTOC® is a software solution that enables hospital-affiliated occupational health programs, freestanding practices and urgent care clinics to record healthcare information in real time and manage electronic healthcare records securely. With SYSTOC, occupational health clinics can customize company protocols and billing services as well as send and receive the results of lab/radiology/drug test orders through UL’s HL7 exchange engine.
UL hosts, maintains and upgrades OHM, SYSTOC and PureSafety, eliminating the need for organizations to devote resources to managing and securing their health and safety management software. Our solutions are backed by a dedicated team of in-house experts who help organizations deploy and optimize solutions, migrate data from existing software, recommend best practices and provide ongoing training.
