Our worldwide laboratories perform testing to international, federal and state regulatory standards, including the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA); EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC; European Standards (EN) and National Standards (BS, NF-S, XP-S); the 1907/2006 Regulation – Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of Chemical Substances (REACH); electrical product regulations (WEEE and RoHS, EMC, FCC); and California Proposition 65 as well as regulations for emerging markets including Brazil, Russia, India and China.
UL is an active member of the Toy Industry Association, the Baby Products Association and the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association.
