Global Accreditations

UL is registered with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) as an approved laboratory for Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) third-party testing requirements. Our worldwide laboratories perform testing to international and national regulations and standards, including the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA); EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC; European Standards (EN) and National Standards; the 1907/2006 Regulation – Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of Chemical Substances (REACH); electrical product regulations (WEEE and RoHS, EMC, FCC); and California Proposition 65 as well as regulations for emerging markets including Brazil, Russia, India and China.
